Secure Common Dialog
HELP..........
How can I ensure any Programs calling the Common Dialog are trapped and killed ???
This is to be used in Eduation where access to the Hard Drive is to be refused !

Why would you want to do that for all programs? Legitimate users would suddenly find they try to save something onto a floppy using Word and their past hour's work disappears...

Can you not just lock down the hard disk for paticular users?

I'm with td on this one. If your running NT or 2000, you can set the security and sharing level for the drives you don't want people to access

There are so many holes in 9x disabling Common Dialogues wouldn't help - Internet Explorer (Address bar, put "c:\" in and you're done); Start->Run and all sorts
