[RESOLVED] IE frezeing up when going to google

hi I got a problem in IE, well going to Google I never had this before ever.

but yesterday I noticed they changed there logo for some king of silly ice logo well it a new one they added I think
but soon as I go to the page in IE click in the box, it just freezes up it it almost takes it out, the only way to get rid is to close the process in task manger, any idea as i said i never encountered this before, it works fine in Firefox,Opera just in IE, I hope Google remove this new logo soon.

Yes using IE9

Well it is working fine for me with IE9.

What is breaking? Does "click in the box" mean the query textbox? Or that game logo?

Well it worked fine before the logo was there and it works on other sites fine so what do you think.
9 times of of 10 I say it might be IE but this time I am not sure, well it will be a first for IE like.
anyway what does this Google stuff use is it java is there a way I can disable it from running?

Well I don't know it seemed to work fine before the new logo thing was there maybe your right. I tried resetting the settings, I have no add-ons to disable cos I never install them
I also tried disabling CSS same problem, Maybe it IE having one of it's fits again will not be the first time.
Anyway thanks for the help

I just use Opera seems to do the trick just fine. To be honest I quite like this browser only installed the other day,
but seems to work perfect.

IE is rather notorious for doing it's own thing and interpreting stuff in it's own way. The logo isn't just a simple picture, so IE is probably just being typically bizarre about it.

Think your right as of this morning the logo is back to default and IE is working fine.
