Simple Database...?

lo all,

I'm quite new to vb so u'll have to forgive my ignorance What I want to do is create a database that lets the user input some simple information such as fist name, last last, age via text boxes and then have the program save this information to a txt file.

Once the record has been saved to disk I need the program to let the user surf through the saved records in that txt file via some arrow buttons (previous, next)

Can anyone point me in the direction of a goood turtorial or maybe give me some help of how to do this?
