[RESOLVED] android / VLC, viewing live cam
on my desktop I can view
http://xxx.xxx.xx.xxx:55780/iqeyevid.html
on my Cell, it wants to install the VLC Player to view H.264 streams
I installed an APP ...I did receive an image, yet it is trying to open
http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:55780/still.h...appletvid.html
what values should be passed to .html ?

Yes, HTML5 has turned out to be quite a boondoggle. Lots of browsers have no native support for H.264 due to costly licensing requirements. For all I know VLC basically pirates the capability, but that's another topic. The key is that Google and others have pulled H.264 codecs from Chrome, the Android browser, etc. and use WebM and other alternatives instead.
What is this "APP" that you installed?

-dilettante- I took a look at the link and it asks for VLC even using IE on Windows! Strange.
