Out of curiosity, an I considered as one of these people?

I correct people when I see bad suggestions, because I hate to see someone get mislead. If a bit of code is wrong (leaving out a piece of syntax can prevent the code from working, and if it goes uncorrected, the person asking the question is just gonna come back and complain that the code stinks), I correct that, too, because I think that's the right thing to do.

I do know I was too quick to correct two people, and I completely regret that...

But I don't think I "slam" people.

So do other people thing I "slam" them?
