[SERIOUS] I've been here for 4 years now..
Hi guys
Some of you might already know me. Some of you are my friends. None of you are my foes(this sentence is not aimed for positive feedbacks).
From all these years of interaction from my side, what would be your judgement ? I am looking for personality as well as proficiency in coding. If you find a value between 0 and 1 for proficiency, then you could skip that part and just mention my personality.
The reason why I am asking it here is, just want to improve myself. Find out what are all my negatives and positives. And wants to clear my negatives and eventually want to become a better person.
While posting the negatives, don't forget to give me a tip on how to make it better.
Thanks

I think you spend way too much time here. I'm not sure but I've read somewhere that it has been 4 years now.
Just kidding btw

I've never crossed sword with you anywhere outside of CC so I can't speak for your technical ability but, personality-wise, you've always seemed pretty pleasant to me.
edit> Just thought of one criticism: the mere fact you're asking this means you're way to self-critical. Just relax. Those who were meant to like you will do so. Those who weren't, well pfft, who care about them?

Re: [SERIOUS] I've been here for 4 years now..
Who the heck am I to pass any kind of judgement on you?
It seems to me that you frequent forums other than the ones that I am typcially in (mostly just VB.NET, for me), but I do think that I have seen some of your posts, and always thought them to be quite reasonable. However, in my memory, the sample that I have seen has been FAR smaller than your post count would indicate, which is why I think we don't cross paths that much.
Other than that, I'd second everything FD stated. I can understand asking our opinion, as long as you don't give it too much weight. However, we are all deficient programmers to some extent, because there is ALWAYS something more to learn. Therefore, you can believe yourselft to be a noob, an expert, or anywhere inbetween, as long as you don't get to thinking that you have nothing more to learn.

Thanks
I think when I joined here, I was a different person. And I was a bit over the limits at that time. Isn't it ?
Some times, I feel like I did many mistakes and what I say would be easily misunderstood by others. I mean, say taken it negatively.
Yeah I am still a newbie.
