Strange VB error

I loaded up Visual Studio 6 on my computer. During set up, I got 2 error messages:

"Failed to initialize rasman.dll, process terminating abnormally"

I clicked on OK and the set up continued.

After a minute, I got this error:

"Could not register mscal.ocx". I clicked on OK and the setup continued.

Once the set was complete, I got the message saying that Visual studio setup was incomplete .

In any case, I opened up VB and when I go to Project--> Controls, I get this error:

"System Error: &H80004002(2147467262), No such interface supported"

and I don't see any controls loaded in that list box. I don't have any problems loading references.

Whatis wrong. I have reinstalled Visual Studio twice and I get this same problem. I am running WinNT. Any help greatly appreciated.

Do you have an original VB cd or a copy, if it's a copy this message may appear, coz it happened to me one with a copy of the VB cd, any way try to install it with minimum options, this may work
