I am trying to assign a routine in a module to a toolbar button in excel 97. However, when I close the workbook that I made the assignment in, the new button still remains (now without a workbook being open) on the toolbar and if I click the button, the previously closed workbook will appear and the code will run. I've checked a couple of general vb/vba books I have around and it appears that I'm taking the correct steps. I'll be buying a excel-vba book tomorrow but I appreciate any help right now. Thanks.
