    I posted a joke (a sick-type joke, I must admit). When I went back to the forum at the end of the day, I couldn't find it anywhere. Has it been deleted?

    Well, let's look at the question you asked:

    "Do you have a right to delete my post?"

    Ok, now you're using someone else's BBS which you don't pay for and you didn't help create, and which is intended for VB programmers to share their knowledge. Now I think the real question should be:

    "Do you have a right to post a sick joke on a VB Bulletin Board?"

    Yes, we did delete your post. We do allow a fair amount of off-topic posts to be posted, but we have to draw the line somewhere.

    And yes, since this is a private forum we are allowed to delete whatever we want in order to keep the Q and A in keeping with the general mission behind the site - to help VB developers.
