Thread: Error 430 after compiling and switching machines

    My application works fine on my development box; however, when I move it to the production server I get a 430 error Class does not support automation or expected interface.

    How can I diagnos where this problem occurs and correct it.

    How did you move it to the production server? Did you use the Setup Wizard orPackage and Deployment Wizard, etc. or did you just copy the exe?

    I just copied the .exe. Should I use the wizard? Also, I'm moving from a Windows 2000 machine to NT 4 sp 6.

    You should definately use the Wizard or 3rd-party software like InstallShield.
