    Angry Beep

    I just installed win2k as my primary OS(No more 9x for me ) But I have a small problem... there is too much beeping!! Not via speakers/microphones, but internally... I can't figure out how to turn this annoyance off

    Thanks for nothing to the 3 people who looked at this

    The reason the system kept beeping was because the drivers for my sound card wasn't installed, the reason for that was because my modem doubles as a sound card, and I didn't know that, but I don't need my modem(I have aDSL), so I just didn't install the drivers.....

    I have the same with NT at work, I hate installing my sound card drivers for NT as they are picky, So I didnt bother....
