    The earth weighs 6 x 10 ^ 21 tons, you missed 3 zeroes. BTW, those are metric tons (about 2200 pounds).

    The ball pen was invented by Joseph Biro in Argentina, and its first commercial name was "Birome". Later he sold the patent to a french guy named Bich, who sold it as "BIC"

    I don't find this strange, since I imagine the slang term crap ("To use the crapper") came from his name and wasn't in use before the flushing toilet.
