Hi,
On my computer, running IE5 it always has the light bulbs on, even if there are no new threads. Has this feature been coded in yet, or is there new posts every 5 seconds? (I tried refeshing.)
Thanks!

Found the problem.
It seems that the light bulbs only work when you are registered. For people like me that "like to watch" - I think it would be good if the cookie is added to non registered users as well
Cheers!

The cookie that stores that information is only set if you actually view a thread. If you just sit on the homepage refreshing, then the cookie does not get set.
However, in the version that I am going to upload later on today, the method that is used is the same as for registered users. The light bulbs stay on until there has been no activity for 5 minutes. While you are busy surfing, they remain on, but once you stop for 5 minutes, they will go out.
