hai gurus,
i forgot my access database password, is there any utility to recover the database or password.
shall we use MSACCESS 97 as front end for ORACLE Database, how will be the performance, any idea ...?

There are several utilities available for retrieving lost passwords. You can find examples here:

If you don't like the offerings here, just go to any search engine and look for "MS Access Password Recovery". You'll get quite a few hits.
As far as using MS Access 97 as a front end for Oracle, it will really depend on the application you are using. If it's a huge multi-user app, then you will probably be disappointed with the performance. If it is a smaller application with few users accessing, the performance will be ok. I know that this is a vague answer, but there are so many variables to consider that I can't be more specific.
