Hmm... I'm not impressed.
There's no excuse for bad spelling.
Videos, Audio, Pictures, Text (about anything), even eBooks! There all here! Whatever you put in your shared directory is available to anyone with The Qube.
At the same time, users can download files from you in order to keep the cycle going. You can share your favorite music*, a ZIP file holding an office project, or even a text file with a funny joke. Anything file type is supported.
an of course...
Your favorite music is now cubed

Qube, reduce the size of your sig please. It's waaaaaaaaaay to long man.
I think the new look is clean and crisp, good. But re-do the Qube logo, it's horrid. Nice anti-alising is what you need

Have the top in a seperate frame, becuase if it isn't (like you have it now) the flash thingey plays every time you click on a link. I don't really like that.

I think it looks pretty decent, except for the cube graphic.... All pixelated... Thought the screen shots looked pretty good.
Is this project open-source?

There's nothing wrong with frames as long as they're used sensibly
What's cool? the flash thingey playing every time you click on a link?
why bother asking us what we think of your site if you already know best??!!

I've got no problems with frames, infact I use them quite a lot if it enhances the design. All this bollocks about being "trapped" in frames is just...well....bollocks
I don't see why people get arsey about them. Except maybe MS who are pissed that Netscape came up with the idea and not them

Yeah, and ironically, I'm on a frames-page right now thats pissing me off (The forum, when opened thru hotmail. Why must they have that Effin frame sayin "You are visiting a site outside of Hotmail. Close this new browser window to return to Hotmail. "?????)

I may disagree with some things you say, but that's definitely not one of them. I don't see why they should make it eternally simple for users - after all, you wouldn't let someone out on the road if they couldn't drive competently in all conditions, so why should computers be any different?

Oh, Parksie. I hate to say this, but it seems as you're a bit naiive as to what a professional( ) programmer goes through. You would not believe how I have to make each program work exactly to the user's specs (except of course when I can get my manager to say "@#$% the user" [which really doesnt happen ])

That's not my point. Yes, it should work to the user's specification. But that's for contract software, rather than software that is just "released" - if you see what I mean. I don't see why those that can use computers should be slowed down by all sorts of junk like those hotmail frames.

Yes, to an extent. But the programmer/developer doesn't usually make these decisions. It's usually some bull$h1t manager or supervisor that insists on it. (Or Microsoft saying "well they'll use it anyway, so why not piss em off )

Uh oh, somebody got upset about his thread sliding down the gutter. Guess what? This is ChitChat! Where threads just slide from topic to topic. There is no stopping it!

What makes you say that? And isn't PMS a problem in itself?
