2. Sony Ericsson Xperia NEO V
3. Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray ST18i Mobile

Bro, First of all Mention your budget. Assuming your budget to be around 20K, Here goes my suggestion.

Remove Xperia Ray from the list because of its small screen size (3.3"). Using android on a 3.3" screen will be horrible and you will start hating android. Believe Me. I have used my bro's LWW(3.2"). Never buy a android with a screen size less than 3.5".

Buying these three phone now will not be a good choice now as Sony has launched Xperia U and Sola in this range. My suggestion for you would be Xperia Sola which has a dual-core processor unlike the three mentioned by you. It also has a SD Card Slot which Xperia U lacks and It costs around 20K. It's really a VFM device.

If you have a budget around 25K, go for Sony Xperia P.

Let me also know, If you are open to phones from other manufacturers too.

I thought it would be a steal to get one. My budget is 12K. But can go upto 13.5 or 14K maximum.

Looking for a good Android phone.
I can go for any companies other than Sony. But I thought the Sony products are good in quality.

Ask yourself what you want. A slightly bigger screen (3.2") or a qwerty keypad. My bro was also in the same dilemma and he bought LWW. Because the Mini Pro was on thicker side and many reported that it had heating issues. And a 3" screen was a real deal breaker for my bro. Get it from Flipkart/Letsbuy or from local stores. Don't buy from ebay eventhough the seller has good reputation/power seller tag.

I am looking for a descent model that runs on Android. Walkman series seems to be upgradable to ICS4.0 from Gingerbird2.3

Both the processor, ram and graphics are same !

Any other brands that you suggest within this range that competes with this config or stability ?

Motorola Defy+ is also a good buy. If you can wait, wait for HTC Desire C. But, It has a single core 600Mhz processor. If you can strech your budget then Neo V, One V and Xperia U.

My Bro too bought LWW without patience. Actually, He was about to buy Neo V or One V at that time. But Neo V was out of stock and there was no demo piece for One V in Chennai at that time. That's why he bought LWW. And he completely forgot about Defy+.

He pressurized me and made me to order Live with Walkman yesterday night itself.

I am too waiting for my board exams to get finished which is 10 months away. At that time, I am sure that I can be able to get a Dual Core Mobile under 15K( or even 12k. Only god knows).

I was thinking about buying a tablet. Was eagerly waiting for the Akash tab. But later came to the sense and just dropped that option.
