    Resolved [RESOLVED] graphics card

    i'm currently building a PC and i'm in need of a graphics card, i can't decide if i should take this graphics card or i should find another, any suggestions on another graphics card? i am willing to spend up to $800 USD

    the motherboard i use is Intel DX79SI.

    I have a Gainward GTX560 1GB DDR5 Graphics Card not sure if that is better than the one you linked to though?

    I'd rather go with a geforce gtx 680. But if you prefer AMD, the Sapphire Radeon HD 7970 is better than the Asus you referenced mainly because it's pre-OCed.

    Are you a pure gamer? If the answer is no then I don't recommend to get the top model graphic card. A mid-range sub $300 video card will be able to play most games at high settings. Save the money and put that toward a better IPS panel monitor.

    sorry i forgot to mark as resolved, i chose a gtx680 graphics card.
