IMHO a Good Idea!!

As it seems to take the equivalent of a mini ice-age to load even the smallest of threads (something to do with outer-tables according to Parksie) would it not be a good idea to have little Reply tags next to the thread subjects in the thread list?

I often already know what the last reply is (if I go to find something out for example and nobody has replied since - or i'm looking at a week-old thread), it would be nice just to have to click Reply rather than waste 10 minutes making a cup of coffee, watching EastEnders and still have time for a shower (okay, I made all those up ) opening up the thread.

Look at the attchment if you don't know what I mean...

Anyway, I think it's a reasonably good idea IMHO

Anyway, this little 3 poster took 5 seconds...and as everyone who uses the internet knows, 5 seconds is about 4.5 seconds too long!!

I've got aDSL, but I should be getting cable by the end of the month because my connection keeps dying

My poor 56k modem does it in 10 seconds or more
And it's even incompatible with Win2K!
I HATE MY MODEM!

Obviously I agree that it's a good idea

my 64K ISDN(proxy) loaded this in about 15 seconds

I think its a good idea to, and should be a very easy job to do Gives me an idea for my ones im doing
