    Resolved [RESOLVED] Transparent icon

How do I create an icon with transparent areas (background) that can be used by VB?

    Re: Transparent icon

Use an editing program that supports transparency, such as IcoFX (which is free and great).

Assuming you mean VB6 or earlier then keep it to 24-bit colour or less, and the size to 32 or less. This is a simplified explanation, but you wont go wrong if you follow this.

Paint.Net gave me so many problems such as cropping my pic automatically. You can also try iaza.com which is a online editor
