When you think you are failing at a task...

I have not failed 700 times. I have not failed once. I have succeeded in proving that those 700 ways will not work. When I have eliminated the ways that will not work, I will find the way that will work.

    Thomas Edison

Of course that is if you finally do figure out a solution. Way too many tend to think failure when working on a problem which is not a good way to think, at least for me.

I always figure out a way that works!

As have all the good programmers I have had the pleasure to work with!

I love that Edison quote - used it many times.

Now if someone could only help me figure out my SCHTASKS problem in the .Net forum

It's a line used by idle people to keep trying the same experiment again and again and failing without knowing why. I am sure Edison was too busy finding out the solution to have thought of something like that to say.

For me, a simple "Oh, sh*t!" always works!
