    < ? Test BDay ? >

this little program is just a birthday reporter. creates 2 files in the app folder (text) leaving the file containing your birthday information. The other file is just used in sorting and then deleted on exit of the application.

That is it, no registery or any other writing happens.

I am interested in any problems as I 'm in the very late finishing stage and I am really interested in knowing if the gifs and sound stay in a reasonable time fraction...they do my system but perhpas on others it will be different.

I know I'm asking a lot when asking someone to run and exe so if there are no takers, c'est la vie....

I virus check my system on a regular basis and I've been hanging around here to long to be intentionally spreading any of that crap.

    Thanks,
    Wayne

PS..the file it creates is BDay.txt and if I recall it creates a temp file in sorting but then deletes it when finished sorting. The app uses a text file and not a database.

After answering the Input boxes, it displayed the wrong month (Dec instead of Jan), but it did save correctly. It also hangs pretty bad when returning to the main form.

I am running Win ME (yuck!!), 900mhz, 384mb RAM

    Ok few bugs

First is the same as stevess:
When you enter October, it gives in the message box Januari..

Second is also the same as stevess:
It "hangs" before returning to the main form..

    Third:
When you want te add a extra (second) birthday then in the list with months the months are double so we have twice Januari...

    Fourth:
List Birthdays for Year, the top option ain't working correctly the other two are working ok...

    Grtz,

    I've had a look...

I'm at work and the comp I am on is fresh out of the ark

    OS: Windows 95 Plus!
    48mb ram
    200Mhtz processer

    *jeeez* that's crap

    Here is what I found...

When I cancelled entering in the day of the birthday I was returned to the main form but no buttons appeared - had to ctrl alt del

generally the buttons take a couple of seconds to appear but my system is low end here

Having no window management options (min, max buttons etc) is a bit of a pain.

When you view birthdays for today, moth or year the return button is called reset which sounds like it would do something else - like remove the birthday list and not return to the main form

    Hope this is useful

Yes. I wasn't hesitant to press Reset also. That's a bad caption, Return would be more appropriate.

I think it works good now
now I think there should be a print dialog when you go to print, instead of automatticly printing
