How do you waste your time in office?
Well, the thread title says it all!
I do it by asking others how they do it.

Re: How do you waste your time in office?
I'm not "wasting" it, I'll do look for questions that I can answer in VBForums.
Please don't tell!

Re: How do you waste your time in office?
His office is so small they can't afford mobile phones.
His salary is so meeger he can barely afford bread to go with his water.
He used to have rats in his apartment but they all died of starvation.
Sad really....

Who's got any time to waste?
Everything that has a computer in will fail. Everything in your life, from a watch to a car to, you know, a radio, to an iPhone, it will fail if it has a computer in it. They should kill the people who made those things.- 'Woz'

Get into project limbo, and you might find yourself with time on your hands
It's driving me nuts. I have a few little things that are necessary, but largely speaking, when I have time to waste I go to the office. When I can't spare anything, I stay home. Right now, I go to the office more than is reasonable.
Other than that, I pay attention at meetings. As long as I have an outlet nearby, meetings are among my most productive times. I can't quite explain this, but for some reason, the discussions at meetings acts as an excellent white noise. I've done some excellent design work at meetings, and I hate to waste them by paying attention, but for the last couple months....I might as well listen.

Apple. Infinity Blade. Benchmarks. Reading Forums. Gaming. Eating. Not working. Technology. Eating. Eating. Eating. Drinking. Aimlessly wandering around. Listening to music. Sleeping. Getting up and down off my chair. Walking in circles. TV. TV trailers. Movies. Fidgeting. Any and all of the above in every possible different combination.
I'm productive

If the questions would have been:
"How do you waste your time during meetings?"
The one and only: BullShitBingo
The best part is to see all those "question marks" in the faces around the room if one has finished his table!

Re: How do you waste your time in office?
Reading the dribble/comments posted on CNN's political columns. But I am always punished when I do so. I get so irritated thinking how the entire world can see that garbage generated by our American countrymen and probably arrive at the same opinion that I do: a country filled with illiterate & uneducated people. Then I step back a moment & realize it isn't a country filled with them necessarily; it's just that CNN is a magnet for their breed. They have nothing better to do with their time than to display their ignorance in public... idiots -- and so am I for wasting my time
Edited: Not talking about the columnists; talking about the bloggers

Uh oh. I feel the same way about people writing onl-line comments to the local paper stories. That's a bad sign.
