Need to find a good bbcode parser

Hi guys

I am looking for a BBcode parser to integrate into my PHP app(just like the VBforums bbcode engine).
I did have some googling and found many. But most of them looks like updated several ages ago. I have also seen that PECL & Pear extensions have this bbcode parser. But I am not sure whether they are by default installed in all hosts.

So, what do you use ?
