    Tell me in one word for Best web development which is preferred ? PHP or .NET ?

    .NET! Although, unless there is a way of running a .NET site on a NON-.NET server I haven't heard of you are going to require a .NET capible server such as IIS.

    Nightwalker83, Then why people preferring PHP ? Reason is Only Cost or What ? Is there any web application like we can only .NET ?

    Well, cost and the fact that php can work on any webserver whereas .NET can only work on Windows servers.
