    Timeout on ADODB Connection via Internet

    I'm sorry if this a repost

    recently i have a problem with my program.

    i'm using my program to connect to my server through LAN and it's fine. now i have to connect it through internet also (TCP/IP), the problem occur when i tried to save some data to server through internet. the connection sometimes timedout sometimes not.

    do i have to set the connection timeout to the higher value or i just set it to 0 (zero)? or is it something else?

    note : i set the connection timeout to 15 and both server & client have Down:1Mbps Up:256Kbps connection speed
