Geezes almighty, that ad is a bigg'un

Just thought I'd point out that the attached ad is pretty dang huge! It squishes the left side of the display and pushes the content down... man...

obviously that ad should not have been placed in that location. Thanks for pointing it out. I'll ask our ad people to make sure it gets removed.

Hmmmm.... It should have been down yesterday. Our ad people are actually pretty quick once they are aware of an issue. If you get it again, snap a screen shot so I can point them correctly.

    Brad!

Note: There is a smaller version of the ad currently showing on the site, but the oversized one should be gone.

    Brad,
I did see it again multiple times this morning on a mobile device while in transit (it was around 7am).
Tried sending feedback... but lost connection. So, please check with your guys.

    Thanks.

edit: just got it again and attaching the snapshot.

I think it's too small. Needs to be bigger. Seriously though I've never seen it. What's interesting is that RhinoBull's screenshot shows the ad significantly larger than Techgnome's. In Techgnome's the left edge goes over to the Internet.com login link at the top whereas with RhinoBull's it goes over to Solutions.

Yeah, I snapped mine on a larger monitor... but the browser only occupies about 80% of the realestate... it's big enough I don't need it taking up the whole screen.

    Brad

    It's there as I type.

I don't have a problem with it as long as it generates BIG BUCKS

I'll continue to work with our ad operations guys. I know this one is driving them crazy too.

Re: Geezes almighty, that ad is a bigg'un

I haven't seen it since I reported it... I've seen the smaller one (oddly it's currently displaying as I type this) and I've seen the banner one at the bottom. It also seems to me that when ever we have a problem ad (and for the record, I wasn't meaning to complain originally, I was simply commenting on the size of it) it takes a while for it to go away. I don't know if it's a location deal, cached servers or what.

Re: Geezes almighty, that ad is a bigg'un

Part of the delay is me getting to our ad operations people, then them getting it removed/ changed in our system. Some ads are served by third-party servers. In those case, we have to contact the advertisor and get them to make a change. All that takes a little time.

    But....

Once the ad is changed, we should be good. This AT&T ad is on our servers, so once our ad ops guys removed it, then it should have been gone. As such, I'm not sure what is going on with this one. It could be cache, but that would be surprising as well.

The one I see is a bigg'un and seems to be appearing more often.

It is still with us, and still large.
