Visual Studio.net Beta 1 On Win2K
Hey guys I program here and there.. Was using 98 and switched over to 2000 Professional. Now when I try to install VS.net B1 during the Updating of windows components it fails on the Frontpage 2000 Extensions install!!! It complains that the version of the Extensions included on the install CD do not work with W2K!. I need B1 to work with my W2K system! I have failed to find out how/where to install a new version of the Extensions from the web
Please tell me that I don't HAVE to Buy and install IIS Server!
Help.
Desperate Pleeds,
Aaron H.

Figured it out
I had to run the setup.exe from the setup directory instead of letting it autorun. It skipped the Component Upgrades (It completed everything except the Extensions) and allowed me to install anyways. Seems to be working fine.. I suspect I just won't be able to do anything that deals with the frontpage server?? Oh well, not my area anyways. :-)
Thanks,
Aaron H
