Re: Hi VBforums, NiTrOwow here
I use to do some of that on VB o.O hell my keylogger once helped a friend of mine thats a girl find out her bf was cheating on her by snagging his email username and pass. Turns out he was. Hacking isnt always evil. Sometimes it can be useful to help out a friend in need ethically of course. However if you plan on creating a virus or causing havok on someone then obviously you wont find it here. Just stories that a select few still remember from many years ago my folder flooder accidently got opened by myself.....

Yes it is...but sometimes it is a necessary evil.
Regardless of what category of evil it falls under, however, we do not, and will not, support it.

What would such an ethical need be? In your example there wasn't any, if she was in doubt about her boyfriend's behaviour, there shouldn't be no doubt that this boyfriend wasn't worth it.
..and it will be like that in all cases!

Re: Hi VBforums, NiTrOwow here
Well another ethical hacking need would be to help major companies find loop holes in their software or OS's so they can make em more secure. Or how bout doing odd things with the OS as a fun learning experience like changing the Windows intro logo. Hacking isn't completely evil. But it can be used for evil like many other things. Cars, baseball bats, even our own hands are capable of being used for evil as well.

I don't like hacking and i never did.. No wait thats a lie.. I tryed a keylogger once on my friend.. But i didn't made they keylogger myself and idk what should be funny on it.. I code more for fun like tools were you can do something with what is useful something like a audio stream ripper or a youtube bot and small simple stuff like that.. Most of them are not even 100% written by me i use alot of already written classes and stuff. I'm on hackforums to learn about security and to protect myself against it.
All my tools released on HF are not even viruses or hacktools.. Most of them are fun tools or just useful tools. Anyway thanks, i hope i have a good time here

Sometimes poking around websites can lead to unintended consequences.
Everything that has a computer in will fail. Everything in your life, from a watch to a car to, you know, a radio, to an iPhone, it will fail if it has a computer in it. They should kill the people who made those things.- 'Woz'

In CC? Is your brain already tapioca, or do you aspire to have it turned into tapioca? If either of those are true, you'll love it in Chit-Chat. Otherwise.....run.
