[RESOLVED] Removing Attached Mailboxes
I have two different mailboxes on my Outlook 2007 tree (aside from my own)
Both of these are generic mailboxes to which emails are sent and there are a team of different folks that monitor and respond to these emails.
I am no longer apart of one of those teams so I would just like to remove the mailbox from my Outlook folder mail items tree.
However, I can't seem to find anything in any of the Outlook menus options that permits me to do so.
The Tools/Account Settings option wants to remove MY maibox, not the mailbox I have selected.
What am I missing?

Re: Removing Attached Mailboxes
Apparently there is no way to do this.
I posted this question on the MSDN forums as well.
No responses.
It seems odd that you can do something that you can't undo once its done.

I don't know if this really applies to your case (i don't have Outlook 2007 here), but in that link there is a section (scrolling all the way down to the bottom) with name "Designee: Removing a Mailbox from Your Folder List", did you already try that?
EDIT: I'll post here that specific section:
1.From the Tools menu, select Account Settings...
The E-mail Accounts wizard opens.
2.If necessary, select the E-mail tab
3.Click CHANGE...
The Change E-mail Account dialog box appears.
4.Click MORE SETTINGS...
The Microsoft Exchange dialog box appears.
5.Select the Advanced tab
6.In the Mailboxes section, from the Open these additional mailboxes scroll list, select the mailbox you would like to remove
7.Click REMOVE
A confirmation dialog box appears.
8.Click YES
9.Click OK
The Microsoft Exchange dialog box closes.
10.Click NEXT
11.Click FINISH
The mailbox is removed from the designee's Folder list.
12.To close the Account Settings dialog box, click CLOSE
