I Have A Confession...

Hello everyone. Many years ago I was once a very active member helping everyone with their programming needs, especially in the graphics and gaming aspects as well as easy to solve programming problems in VB6. I was also addicted to DirectX8 as many of you members know and hated VB.Net. But also many years ago I was immature and took things too far in the chit chat section of VBForums. I have been banned quite a few times and even requested to be banned once. I was foolish, crazy, and out of control at the time and I fully admit that. However times have changed and I grew up. Many years later, I created Tarja. I'm not as active on VBForums as I once was as you can see from my post count, but still every once in awhile log on to help others.

Hoping to not get this particular account banned, I have created this post in the hopes that any of you forum moderators could forgive me of my actions from the past. My confession is that I am Jacob Roman, yes the infamous JR as everyone called me by name. And I notice I left a mark here cause my name is still brought up once in awhile. I'm now 30 years old living happily in Miami Beach over in the Bay Harbor Islands. Ever since I was banned from here I started playing World of Warcraft heavily. After a few years of playing I decided to attempt to make a 2D version of WoW called Bosskillers using VB6 and DirectX8. It's incomplete but rather impressive. Yes and also I create my own Dubstep and Electro using Cubase 5 as my DAW and use Absynth 5, Massive, Reaktor 5, Kontakt 3, Sub Boom Bass, etc. as my synthesizers. It's fun creating my own sounds and music cause there is no limit to your imagination. It becomes a work of art in the end. Heres an example of a taste of what I do:

Yeah, I remember trying to come up with a metaphor for your behavior, which I found thoroughly entertaining. I think I described it as something like approaching the AUP using the Braille system: Keep going in one direction until you run into something, then ricochet off in another. Good times, though. It's been a while, and yes, I have wondered about you many times.

I don't do programming in VB6 anymore, I switched to VB.NET, and I'm in love with SQL Server

I'm not active on VB Forums anymore. I check in one in a while, and mostly go in the database forum. Even then I only answer question on SQL Server only (I hate MS Access).
