    Smilies in posts?

    John? You know how I and many other people posted a whole bunch of smilies in Chit Chat in Fox's New Smilies thread, for people to use as new smilies. How come when people [img] attachments, you can't view them? Do you think you could enable that so we could post the image smilies in any post so we don't have to just stick with the 11 that are offered for posting in threads?

    I'm sure many people would agree with me on this.

    Well ...

    I guess the IMG tags were disabled in other forums to prevent people post obscene (now, is there really something which is obscene?) images or pictures there. I also guess John is justified in restricting the use of the IMG tags only to the Chit Chat forum.

    ChimpFace9000, you might get an advice to disable members' signatures when you view the posts! However, I don't think Matthew Gates will tell you that. LOL

    Matthew, did you take a cue from Parksie, or is it the other way round?

    You cannot link to attachments because of a security issue affecting image tags. Get someone to upload them somewhere, and then you can use the [img] tags, or email them to me, and I'll take a look at getting them online.

    www.mysmilies.com has a good list, and cunningly enough they provide the [IMG] tags for you
