I have 3 machines.... 1 macintosh

and 2 pentiums

I bought both pentiums before the Athlon came out... And K6-2's were worse than Pentium 2's and 3's (or so I heard..!)..

right now AMD is better, but in a few months intel is going to release its new Itanium Processor, with speedy memory and stuff like that. I heard msft is making a special version of winXP just for this processor.

I currently have an Athlon, but i'm going to get the Itanium processor when it comes out

I got a Pentium 2 and that was a very good buy especially compared to the same prized K6-2 3Dnow! that AMD hat running that time. The whole K6 kind of sucked, but the K6-2 3Dnow thing was just emberassing. It heated and it was sooo slow.

Well the Athlon would be definetly my choice right now. I really need to replace my P2 266 comp with a descent Athlon 1.5Ghz!

AMD SUCKS ASS!!! Windows 2000 Advanced server and the .NET enterprise servers have commands specifically designed for Intel chipsets, AMD have problems with these features in terms of performance and reliability, so AMD goes straight into my room 101!!!
