Connection between 2 FTP Servers

Hi !

I want to create a connection between 2 FTP Servers for file transfer. If you don't know what I mean then please visit http://www.cee.hw.ac.uk/courses/5nn2/6/3+4.htm

I can login on each server separatly but I don't know how to connect them together.

Has anybody made something like this before ? Or do you have an idea how this could work ? Please help me.

I think that specifically what you're trying to do is quite a proprietary thing.

What I would suggest you do is telnet to a shell, then use the ftp command on the shell to download the file to the shell. Then use ftp again to upload the file from the shell to the other ftp server.

That way you yourself never have to waste your bandwidth ...
