help with Excel VBA Declare statement

I have a bunch of Declare statements that expose various routines in a DLL:

    Code:
Public Declare Sub routinexyz Lib "C:\$User\MYDLL.dll" (variable list)
Is there any way to use a const whose value is "C:\$User\MYDLL.dll" instead of the actual string in every statement? It allows an easy way to change the value of the Lib name (or path).

    no
ideally the dll should be in the system32 directory, or os equivalent, then no path would be required
i do my best to test code works before i post it, but sometimes am unable to do so for some reason, and usually say so if this is the case.
Note code snippets posted are just that and do not include error handling that is required in real world applications, but avoid On Error Resume Next

dim all variables as required as often i have done so elsewhere in my code but only posted the relevant part

come back and mark your original post as resolved if your problem is fixed

Thanks for the tip. That's a lot better than what I have
