    Turn On Thread Preview Perhaps?

I use another forum that also uses vBulletin. They have a feature turned on where if you hover the mouse over the thread title or even anywhere in the wide rectangle that has the thread title, you'll see a preview of the first post in the thread with perhaps up to 7 or 8 lines of text.

I don't help out that much answering questions but for those members that do they might appreciate that feature. There are a lot of threads to look at and if you could quickly preview the thread it might be helpful.

ungh... it used to be on... and it created such a ruckus... it was turned off. It got in the way and people were finding out that it wasn't providing enough of a preview of the thread... and in some cases, it grabbed more than it should, especially when code blocks were involved... it was a mess... it really was... at leas that's the way I remember it. Yeah, there are a lot of threads to look at sometimes... you just gotta pick and choose and go with the gut check. At least that's how I deal with it.

Ok. It doesn't matter that much to me. I never knew that they had it on before. I just thought I would suggest the idea.

    As they said.....

    Been there. Tried that.

Agree that it seems like a good feature, but it ended up not being as good on as it was off.
