    Exclamation Using Windows Installer....

    Hi Guys,
    I've seen the Windows Installer in many Apps, which is capable of Repairing the Corrupted files provided a Valid source is given. Is it Possible to Use Windows Installer in VB or any other Installation Wizards other than the Package and Deployement wizard. Also can Installshiled and wise Installshield can be Imported in VB to Install Apps. Anyone Help Please.

    I have InstallShield for Windows Installer version 2 and it imports VB projects fine. It's a bit of a behemoth () but it works well, and you can make those nifty "Feature" views like on the Office 2000 installer

    You can edit the database (.msi file) using the MSI API functions - they're documented in MSDN.

    You have InstallShield there? Wonderful It's dead simple - when the InstallShield Today screen appears when you start it, choose the VB option

    Hi Parksie,
    As you told I've only Installshield for VC++6. So where Can I get this Windows Installer Edition of Installshield. Do u have any links of website or URL from where Can I download it....
