Intel has free code (but you must register) that saves the contents of an Image or PictureBox Control in JPEG format. Try this site http://vbaccelerator.com/ and select vbMedia in the left column and select the 1st article.

Siddhu, I hate to tell you this but that really doesnt work! Sorry, the other persons method however does, cheers for that, i have been looking to do that forever! I nearly resorted to writing an active x control in delphi, until i realised that Delphi isnt the easiest tool to create an active x control in!

Indeed, that's the same if you just rename a bitmap to .jpg or whatever you want...
