    Running Wires

This past weekend i decided to run wires through my wall. I have my TV mounted on the wall, as well as my sound bar. Before, the wires were just hanging down. I decided i would run them together, as well as running cat5e cable to a permanent location on the wall, instead of just from a hole in my closet.

The cat5 runs to the attic, into my closet where i have my wifi ap, NAS, and gigabit switch. makes my desk area less cluttered, and my room a little cooler (at least when the closet it closed).

    Here is the end result:

After the wires ran through the wall, which came first?

You haven't shown us how it was before, so how do you expect us to judge if you did the right thing or not, or if you did it well or not?

Seriously, congrats! I wish I could do the same, but all my stuff lies on the same side of the wall

    Re: Running Wires

I realized when i was finished, that i didnt take any before pictures. I found the following pictures. In the first one you can see the wires along the wall on the right side. And in the 2nd picture of my cat, you can see in the background how the wires from the speaker drape over, and hang down from the TV. and the 3rd picture shows the clutter under my desk

I have yet to clean up my desk, though it only has just one desktop PC.
