    C#

    What is C# all about? Has anyone sent sometime with it yet? Is it worth learning?

    think of C# as Vb for Java programmers. About the only major difference other than syntax between C# and VB is that C# can access memory locations directly.

    I believe its C Sharp (# = Sharp in musical terms)
    # is pronounced "hash" in other terms, an can mean number, like #1 means number one.

    It never means pound as far as I know, this is a pound sign: £

    Yeah on the phone it called the "pound" sign, the "£" is for currency. They were going to call it "c- hash" but then they thought it might be taken wrong....

    <explained>
    "Hash" is a narcoctic product made of marajuana, more potent than its predecessor, and much more potent... and mellower too!

    Misunderstandings

    Not only would they have been misunderstood, but they'd have probably got in a lot of trouble for it too.

    The correct pronunciation is "C-Sharp" as adamcox said earlier.
