[RESOLVED] Mobile Development
Is it possible to create an iphone app and deploy it only for certain people? For example, if I wanted to create an app for a business and only employees are to use it. Is this possible without putting it on the app store? I figure with android/blackberry it is pretty easy, but with some research I cant find anything for iphone.
I figure Apple wouldnt allow this for some reason...

Re: Mobile Development
It is using an Enterprise Developer Program. That's for "in house" app distribution, but there are limitations to who can enter. You can find more details here: http://developer.apple.com/programs/ios/enterprise/ and here: http://developer.apple.com/support/ios/enterprise.html
You could technically use Ad Hoc distribution with a regular account, but there are two problems. You are allowed to provision up to a 100 devices on which you are allowed to install apps. And secondly, provisioning profiles expire every three months after which the installed apps will no work, and you'll have to issue new provisioning profiles and rebuild to keep it working.
