transcendental analytic
1+1+36=38
1+2+18=21
1+3+12=16
1+4+9=14
1+6+6=13 <- A
2+2+9=13 <- B
2+3+6=11
3+3+4=10
If the sum is 13, then there's still not enough info, and since the eldest child
has to be older than the others, it's the B alternative.

writing software in C++ is like driving rivets into steel beam with a toothpick.
writing haskell makes your life easier:
reverse (p (6*9)) where p x|x==0=""|True=chr (48+z): p y where (y,z)=divMod x 13
To throw away OOP for low level languages is myopia, to keep OOP is hyperopia. To throw away OOP for a high level language is insight.
