Need help resolving error when running program.

When ever I try running my program i get an error in the error log that says...

This is NOT an error that is on the program i am working on now since it continually comes up with this error even when i exit out of Vb and bring it back up with a fresh project.

When I try deleting the files that are infected they go away then when i click run they comeback.

The files that it says are supposedly "Trojan horse key-loggers" are in the Vb temp files so when i exit out of Vb my avg isn't aware of it but when i start Vb back up it goes off and gives me the same error message.

    Any help is appreciated.

Re: [Fixed] Need help resolving error when running program.

What exactly are you creating ?

Also, you have posted your thread in the VB6 or Earlier Version section, which is the wrong place for your thread as you are using VB2010. So it is supposed to be posted in the VB.Net Section

I'll ask a mod to move this thread.

Re: Need help resolving error when running program.

I was just experimenting was gonna see if i could try making a program that would check to see when the internet disconnects/connects

So what i did was create an application that would create and then record data into a .txt document.
But my avg thing went off saying it was a trojan horse ect...

And sorry about posting in wrong section >.<

Moved to VB.Net, although, I am still not sure that this is even a Visual Studio problem, but rather a problem with your Virus scanner. I don't use AVG anymore, so I can't comment on what it's resident shield might be doing, but hopefully someone here will be able to help you out.

I had a similar problem. It is not an error in your program it is malware. Those &^%$&** infect your system to make you buy a solution to the "error" which they created themselves, in the first place.

Two ways of solving it: find a program that would find this %$%^&&%^ virus-add, or reformat your drive.

    I did reformat my drive.

It may well be that you have a virus, and sometimes formatting is the best solution, but it kind of sounds like you might also be creating something that so closely resembles a keylogger that AVG is seeing it as a keylogger. If you can work on other projects without any issue, then the latter seems more likely. If you can't work on ANY project without the same problem coming up, then the former is more likely.
