    Lines & 2D Ray Tracing... I need an algorythm to draw lines manually!

    Hey, I've come up with this idea for a lightning engine, and it's gonna be 1000 times faster than what we have but to do it I need to know how to draw a line from point A to point B

    Does anyone have a good algorythm on this? The ones I have are either anti-aliased or "not complete" (eg.: most angles don't work - sorry Fox )

    If it's faster than the standard "x=x+constant"-or-something method (which I can't find anywhere ) it would be better, but still, I'm really desperate so anything will have to do
    Code:
    Temp = Me.GetIQ()
    'Error 9: Overflow
    'DON'T PANIC! :eek:

    What's wrong with line method?
    Use
    writing software in C++ is like driving rivets into steel beam with a toothpick.
    writing haskell makes your life easier:
    reverse (p (6*9)) where p x|x==0=""|True=chr (48+z): p y where (y,z)=divMod x 13
    To throw away OOP for low level languages is myopia, to keep OOP is hyperopia. To throw away OOP for a high level language is insight.

    Well, I need to figure out the line *virtually*. That means, no VB built-in graphics methods

    Any idea?
    Code:
    Temp = Me.GetIQ()
    'Error 9: Overflow
    'DON'T PANIC! :eek:
