Hello all,

Does anyone know where I can get a routine to validate V.A.T. numbers for any European country. i.e. If I enter a V.A.T. number and a country (such as Belgium) it will tell me if the V.A.T. number is valid or not.

I have searched far and wide and would appreciate any help (and don't tell me to ring the European something or another, because they are all brutally unhelpfull - unless of course you know which one can actually give me the answer).
