IE9 and Javascript
Is it just me or is the new engine for IE a javascript-nazi?
Two (older I admit) WYSIWYG editors seem to be a royal pain in the bum to get working with IE9...
Editors in question are SPAW2 and FCKeditor 2.6.6.
The problem with SPAW is that IE throws some error when the editor is in a frame (I know, frames are so 90's but it's way to expensive to fix the site).
And that error renders the textfield unusable.
The problem with FCKeditor is that the image upload dialog crashes...
Currently we are advising customers to use another browser, but that's not ideal.
Is anybody else having issues with IE9?
Also, fixing those errors proves to be a lot of finding a needle in a haystack.
So are there any suggestions for another WYSIWYG editor that supports file upload?
Thanks.
Delete it. They just clutter threads anyway.

Yes, that is why I downgraded to IE8 and use non-IE browsers for most internet browsing.

And why I keep ignoring the "recommended update" to IE9... Why it isn't an optional download/update I don't know.

Re: IE9 and Javascript
You can hide updates in the context menu of the update
Forcing compatibility mode seems my only option at this moment.
Silly thing is that 'forcing' compatibility mode only makes the compatibility button appear.
The user still has to click it for the rendering to be correct.
Delete it. They just clutter threads anyway.
