As long as he equips the robot with his "Yotamarker" I don't think it represent any threat. Anyway, he keep saying he's lazy so by the time this project is done we'll already be gone...

This situation has to be put in context, for everyone to understand why you're in the wrong.

First, for everyone else, the thread Shaggy was referring to is here.

I didn't go to your thread to discourage it and change the subject. The following is what you wrote in your post.

Quote Originally Posted by moti barski View Post

At face value, that is not a VB.NET question. From what you're asking, that sounds like it belongs in Chat Chat. No where in that post did you ask an actual programming question pertaining to VB or any other language. So what was I supposed to think?

It wasn't until later that I realized that you were trying to ask a question like you would with a person if you were face to face. But that's not how it works on forums. You don't ask if we have access to this software and then wait for us to say "Yes" so you can proceed. You're wasting everyone's time and confusing us.

And really, you're the one to go and be a jerk even more into the thread. A moderator, si_the_geek, responded to the thread and explained what you were doing wrong. Then you responded like a child would.

You can't honestly expect anyone to be helpful when you act like that.

And apparently your delusion is keeping your from understanding why you have been given negative rep.

Don't worry; we all know better. I loved the "change my meter to green or else" post he wrote to the Admins. I'm surprised that the Admins were as tame to him in that post as they were.

I guess you somehow referred to it? I don't know. Either way, I remember reading that thread and thinking to myself, "Wow...that's rather rude of Moti."

Oh well, time goes on it seems.

EDIT: Minitech referred to it here

I remember that I was going to refer to it one time, but I thought I had decided not to. Perhaps weirdDemon needs to recalibrate his ESP app. Or perhaps he is using the Apple version (iESP), which does have problems with reception.

Yes, the link is in the arrow beside "moti barksi" in the quote.

If you look at the last few threads he started, they have "i was talking about vb.net dont be a douche", "fine be that way", "change it back to green or else", etc., etc.. I'm still wondering why he gets special treatment, since most other people who act that way get banned :/

    Re: artificial intelligence

Seriously though: we've said it a hundred times already but you don't seem to understand a key point: your videos don't show anything! They look like a bunch of random stuff on a form... Nobody can understand that unless they have specific knowledge of what your program does exactly. You can send your videos to anyone you like but nobody will understand what they're watching, let alone think your AI has potential.

If you are serious about your project try to figure out how you can show it off, let it do some tests or something, I don't care, as long as it can be understood by someone else other than you....

Where have you been? You remind me of the olden days, when Chit Chat was Chit Chat and NoteMe's poor Engrish entertained us all.

    Re: artificial intelligence

About 5 years ago us hard core chit chatters formed an allegiance and thus Frogect Rotamiton was born (a.k.a the Notimator). The sole aim of this frogect was to produce a Firefox extension that posted as NoteMe; it included a bad spelling module and expletive module, numeric and punctuation padding modules, the list goes on. http://www.vbforums.com/showthread.php?p=2581522

Upon completion we were required by our frogect manager (mendhak) to under take some user acceptance testing. So the devoted members of the team created some drone accounts on VBF and posted some output from the extension across the chit chat forum.

Such was the convincing nature of this tool that it caught the attention of the mighty Martysaurus. He promptly banished from the VBF kingdom the drone accounts and NoteMe for his apparent rampage on the forums. What ensued was a few red faces and a spank on the buttocks for all members of the Rotamiton (administered by the Martysaurus). Mendhak subsequently declared frogect Rotamiton as a successful failure following NoteMe's reinstatement to the community. From that point forward we vowed never to mention or use the tool again. Ooops :S

NoteMe never did quite recover form the embarrassment however and went to work for a rival web browser. Such is life. Sigh .....

So wait, you're basically saying all of religion is a mistake? Do you not understand how much religion has shaped the world and the history of the world? Religion kept Europe together during the Dark Ages, religion was what people turned to in dark times and you're saying it all was a mistake?

Excuse me, I may not be religious myself, but after studying World History, I cannot let you say that religion is a mistake. I will accept if you say that because of religion, people made mistakes; that much is true.

I was noticing that this thread has perhaps the highest average post rate for any thread in the past 2 years. The thread Why Are You Not A Believer In The Existence of God has I think 9 more posts but is more than a year older than this thread. This thread is in the 19th spot for threads with the most replies in Chit Chat.

I'm atheist myself as I already declared; I was just saying the importance of religion in history is very large. But whatever.
