That's a gem, deskin animal! ROTFLMAO
I have to fight the temptation to download and read this stuff. I don't think I shall be able to do anything productive for a few months if I read it.

Damn, I finally scumbed to the temtation and decided to download the pdf but waddayaknow... it's charged. While I might fancy a good larf I don't think I'm inclined to pay for it in this instance. I'm off to FailBlog instead. Come to think of it, I'll just keep reading the thread as it amounts to much the same thing.

Nope. It is not charged. I have the downloaded the book. If you want a copy, PM me your email address.

Moti,
I think you meant to use the word "prey".

Intellectually speaking, it's best that he doesn't read it. He'll probably end up losing some IQ points. But, it does make for a good laugh.

Re: artificial intelligence
Yeah, that ORON site is really annoying. I thought it was charged, too, at first, but eventually I realized that their model is to give you a free download, but hide that fact and annoy you extensively if you try to use it, all while pushing the paid service. The paid service just removes all the annoyances. It would be a reasonable model if there were things that you would be downloading frequently, but it makes no real sense if the downloads are fairly small and infrequent.

It's not about being "cool." It's about showing you that 99.99% of questions can be resolved via Google searches and you're only impairing yourself and hampering others when you decide to be lazy.

If you look back at the OPs posts in the VB.NET section, you'll notice a similar pattern.
He'll ask people to explain something and wait hours for a response, when a Google search and 5 minutes could give him the info he wants

Re: artificial intelligence
OK, possibly I'm being dumb (probably actually) but I still can't download it for free. There's a Regular Download option but if I press that I get a message saying I've downloaded my maximum limit of 500Mb already. Don't know how because I've never even heard of Oron before. It tells me I've got to become a premium member and, if I click on the link for that, it gives me a list of paid options. Modi, you didn't create that site yourself using YuppyMapper did you?
Anyway, Abhijit, my email's on the way. And let me make this absolutely clear to everyone: I only want to recieve an email from abhijit. Clear? Good.
Oh alright, any of you can email me... because your cute.

I'm only sharing this because I've been suffering from deep depression for quite some time. For the first time in my life, my depression has been cured, and it's all thanks to you, moti_barski.
You are a true legend. The only thing missing from that book is how to cure cancer, but it doesn't even need to be put in, because the tears of laughter I and anyone who reads this will shed could be used to cure cancer.
