    A piece of art, (panting, sculpture, novel etc) should give the viewer/reader more than just it's physical appearance. It should generate an emotional response.

    Take that journal of high cultural input Playboy. That can generate all sorts of emotions, and sticky sheets, and.......blame Dennis

    You just had to drag this thread into the gutter didn't you. Onya Dennis, am thinking between You, Parksie, and myself that the site don't stand a chance.

    writing software in C++ is like driving rivets into steel beam with a toothpick.
    writing haskell makes your life easier:
    reverse (p (6*9)) where p x|x==0=""|True=chr (48+z): p y where (y,z)=divMod x 13
    To throw away OOP for low level languages is myopia, to keep OOP is hyperopia. To throw away OOP for a high level language is insight.

    There's this guy in France (probably), who covers a canvas with his own sh¡t and sells it. It's like a circle, he eats, he sh¡ts, paints with his sh¡t, sells it, buys more food, etc. etc....

    Errrmmm... It's a house on wheels! Can't you see that? It's a representative piece for a mobile building until Behemoth draws me a real picture.

    I must take full credit for that masterpiece, it should not be confused in any way, shape, or form with the quality stuff that Behemoth produces.

    Some of his hand drawings (i.e. drawings by hand, not drawings of hands) are what I would class as art. He has quite a talent for it.

    It might run in the family as his mum's a painter.
    Gentile or Jew,
    O you who turn the wheel and look to windward,
    Consider Phlebas, who was once handsome and tall as you...
