Is it just me that finds the fact that using a user control drains system resources.
If I place 100 activeX user controls on a form windows system resources will be reduced by 30%, user by 40% and gdi by 6%.
What this tells me is that, Yes you can create controls but there is a price to pay.
This makes no sense.
Am I wrong?

It depends what your control contains. What do your user control do? What other controls does it contain?
