    TPM Activation Process

Why is the TPM activation process so weird? We enable bitlocker on our laptops at work. I have to go into the BIOS to enable the TPM. The screen in which you enable the TPM has gigantic wall of text consisting mostly of fluff. After you enable the TPM, Windows has you activate (or something) the TPM. This requires you to restart and then this mildly disturbing screen that tells you to press F10 if you are absolutely sure you want to make the device active.

Why do I have to activate it twice (bios and windows)? Why does the BIOS have a intimidating wall of text? Why does Windows make you jump through hoops to enable it?
My monkey wearing the fedora points and laughs at you.

    There's a fix for that.
